Renewing Your Mind with the Word of God podcast is a verse by verse, chapter by chapter study of the Word of God. The podcast’s name is from Romans 12:2 which says “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” How do we renew our minds? by studying the Word of God, which is found in the Bible.

In this episode, we continue our study of John, chapter 8; specifically, verses 33-45.  Jesus is still in the Temple’s court area responding to the Pharisees’ challenge to who He is and His authority. In response to Jesus’ explanation that the Truth shall set them free, the Pharisees don’t  understand His meaning, thus, they claim not to be enslaved but are instead “sons” of Abraham.  Jesus tells them that they are not “sons” of Abraham spiritually because they didn’t obey God like Abraham did. Jesus tells them their father is Satan  because they are liars and murderers like Satan.
