Renewing Your Mind with the Word of God podcast is a verse by verse, chapter by chapter study of the Word of God. The podcast’s name is from Romans 12:2 which says “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” How do we renew our minds? by studying the Word of God, which is found in the Bible.

In this episode, we start chapter 10 of the Book of John.  Jesus is still talking with the Pharisees after healing the man born blind. He uses the analogy of the shepard and the sheep to explain to the Pharisees, and those listening, that  He is the Good Shephard and His sheep (those who believe in Him and confess Him as Lord and Savior) knows His voice and follows him.  Jesus tells them that as the Good Shephard He will lay down His life for His sheep, which He did on the cross.  Jesus died for our sins. He paid our penalty.  But He was raised from the dead because He was and is sinless.
