Renewing Your Mind with the Word of God podcast is a verse by verse, chapter by chapter study of the Word of God. The podcast’s name is from Romans 12:2 which says “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” How do we renew our minds? by studying the Word of God, which is found in the Bible.

In this episode, we look at John 7:14-26. Jesus goes to the Feast of Tabernacle or Booths. While there He teaches in the Jewish Temple. As usual, the people are amazed at His wisdom and knowledge–despite not going to a religious school. Jesus knowing their thoughts tells them that His knowledge comes from God the Father who sent Him to the Earth.  Jesus also discloses to the crowd the Jewish leaders’ plot to kill Him because He violated one of their man-made laws by healing a man on the Sabbath.
